Induction set
1.         Teacher shows a clock face to pupils.
2.         Discuss with pupils about the time they wake up in the
             morning, have lunch in the afternoon, playing in the
             evening and go to bed at night.
3.         Check their knowledge about time and its importance.
Strategies
1.         Teacher uses a clock face to show half hour and quarter
            hour.
2.         Pupils say time accordingly after teacher.
3.         Pupils write time to the half and quarter hour based on
            times shown on clock faces.
            E.g.:     4 : 15
                        i.          Quarter past four
                        ii.          Fifteen minutes past four
                        iii.         Fifteen past four
iv.        Four fifteen
                        10 : 45
i.              Quarter to eleven
ii.             Fifteen minutes to eleven
iii.            Fifteen to eleven
iv.           Ten forty-five
                        2 : 30
i.              Half past two
ii.             Thirty minutes past two
iii.            Two thirty
4.         Pupils do Exercises 1 – 3 in the Activity Book, pages
            79 – 82.
5.         Pupils do the interactive activity in MyCD.
6.         Teacher can print and use worksheets in TCD as extra
            activity in the class.
7.         Teacher use Power Point to show the clock face and
            pupils telling the time. After that, teacher do the
            conclusion.
